First Contact Celebrates Nine Support Group Grads
First Contact Ministries would like to congratulate our latest round of graduates from the Tuesday night curriculum support groups! On Tuesday, July 9, nine individuals were promoted through our 18 week “levels” program on to the next level. So awesome!
Graduation is an exciting time, and a celebration of positive change in the lives of our graduates. We’re SO proud of our grads! First Contact Ministries is committed to supporting individuals and families in recovery.
The First Contact Ministries substance abuse and addiction support groups consist of four levels. Individuals graduate levels and are promoted to the next class through consistent class attendance, and a demonstrated committment toward sobriety and working on their recovery. Coaches guide participants during class, and through individual coaching sessions as needed throughout the week.
Our weekly support groups for men and women (separate groups) meet each Tuesday night at 6:30, at Mud Creek Baptist Church, 403 Rutledge Dr., Hendersonville, NC 28739. Anyone is welcome! For more information on support groups and other services we provide, please call the office at (828) 435-2180.
